Our repair facility is the only one of its kind in Whangarei and the surrounding areas. We have staff with years of experience in the field of inflatable boats & dinghies and fibreglass boats & products. We have a full range of inflatable boat components and fittings to repair or modify your boat. Repairs range from a simple air leak, delaminated handle or transom, split seam or valve replacement. Refurbishment or cleaning of the tubes is also a common request. We can add rubbing strips and chaffing strips to high use areas.
Our range of inflatable dinghies and rigid inflatable RIBS range in size from 1.8mt to 4.2mt. Inflatables include the slat-floor, air-mat floor and solid plywood floor types. Rigid Inflatables have tubes attached to a white powder-coated aluminium hull in either 3 or 4mm depending on the hull size. Tubes are available in either economy or premium style - depending on the amount of fittings and features you require. All inflatables and RIBS carry a 5 YEAR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY which is a unique feature of this range. Accessories are also available such as handles, foot pumps, dolly wheels and oars etc. Northland Inflatables also have galvanised boat trailers PARSUN outboard motors available to suit smaller boats.
Fibreglass boat repairs, both structural and cosmetic, are another area of expertise. From transom re-builds to simple gelcoat chips and fractures. Other fibreglass products can be repaired such as car bodies, horse floats, tractor guards ..... anything fibreglass. Custom-made fibreglass hardtops are another speciality. These are designed to suit a specific area typically on a sailing or motor yacht. Northland Inflatables also supplies glue, resin and fibreglass materials for DIY projects.

Under New Management
We start the New Year under new ownership, bringing an international team to Northland Inflatables.From Australia, Tim Harradine is a shipwright with over 30 years' experience. He is a specialist in fibreglass repairs and fabrication but can turn his hand to almost any repair job. Alison Grove comes from the UK and has a business background. We arrived here on our yacht in 2004 and liked it so much we decided to stay. Together we bring a wealth of experience of sailing and travelling, making and mending, and fixing problems.
